  Where are they now?

Leah Mitchell

Leah has been dancing for 16 years. She has been recognized for her dance achievements through scholarship awards from New York City Dance Alliance, LA Dance Magic, Tremaine, West Coast Dance Explosion and The Pulse. She has been nationally awarded as Top 10 Outstanding Teen Dancer at Tremaine Nationals, Top 10 Outstanding Senior Dancer at New York City Dance Alliance and "Most Outstanding Choreography" for her self-choreographed solo. At KJ she has been awarded "Most Dedicated", "Most Ideal" and the Silver Box Award.

Leah has had the honor to choreograph for the Shepton Drill Team, Plano West Football Mom's Homecoming pep-rally dance, Plano West "Mr. West" Pageant and assisted Audrea Cowan with the Dallas

Cowboy Cheerleader Hip Hop Routine. She has loved being able to give back to the community through the many charity benefit performances through KJ and this year had the "prestigious" honor of portraying the Grinch! She has been on staff the last 2 years teaching hip-hop, ballet and jazz.

Leah is a Plano West graduate and is attending SMU majoring in dance, as a scholarship recipient.
