Her continued performance experience soon after being a student with Houston Ballet was with The Nashville Ballet Company (Tennessee) in 1989 and 1990. Yvette came to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex in 1991 to be closer to family. She found herself continuing her dance study and teaching experience with Ceyhun Ozsoy at Ozsoy School of Ballet. Traveling and dancing abroad came next, only Ms. Yvette had to switch gears in the dance world to make that happen. In 1992 Bauder then Flores gained a position with The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and found herself part of the Elite Dancers through the DCC Show Group. It was during her two seasons as a DCC performer that she traveled performing in London, Tokyo, Okinawa, Seoul, and Paris. Yvette performed in two consecutive Super Bowls during her DCC days. Wife/Mom happened in the mid 90’s. Along with enjoying family life, Ms. Yvette has enjoyed teaching for KJ Dance Designs in Plano for a total of nine years. Her ballet choreography on KJ Dance Companies has won top awards at such dance conventions as Tremaine, LA Dance Force and NYCDA. Owner /Director of Stonebridge School of Ballet in McKinney for seven years, and seven Spring Performances, are Bauder’s greatest dance accomplishments to date. The transformation of classic fairy tale The Velveteen Rabbit from a book to a live on stage performance was the most memorable. During her time as Director Ms. Yvette led students to audition and gain acceptance to summer dance programs such as The Kirov Ballet and Joffrey Ballet Intensives. “To motivate and challenge my students to love and use ballet as a part of their foundation for fitness and other dance styles is important to me. For those who will become The Dancer/Ballerina, it is my pleasure to have a part in that journey.” |
